A number of pages on this Web site offer downloadable documents. Many of these documents appear as *.pdf files, formatted for Adobe Reader. If you don’t have a copy of this software on your computer, you can download the software for free from Adobe.
Other documents are formatted as *.doc Word files. Recent versions of Microsoft Office, along with Apple’s Pages and open-source programs like OpenOffice will be able to work with these files.
Images
Images on this Web site are in two formats: *.gif and *.jpg. Graphics and logos generally appear as *.gif files and photos appear as *.jpg files. In general, these files should appear without problems in most browsers. The Web site does provide plain text alternative descriptions of photos so that individuals who use software that speaks the texts on the Web will have access to descriptions of the images.

The synod plans to add video clips to this site. When the first clips appear, this page will share information about the software needed to view these clips.
