In his letter to the Church at Corinth, St. Paul writes, “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body–Jews or Greeks, slaves or free–and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.” (I Corinthians 12:13, NRSV)

In the Nebraska Synod, we live, work and walk together in this same Spirit. Despite living in small towns and in cities, on farms and in apartments, working with our hands and with our heads, going to school or enjoying rest from our labors, we are truly one in Christ.

From within our midst, God has called some of us to distinct positions of service. The pages in this section of the Web site provide information about these individuals serving the Church on behalf of the rest of us.
