To participate in God's mission, the Nebraska Synod will proclaim and celebrate the life-giving and freeing power of God's undeserved love in Jesus Christ to all people by:

• Challenging and supporting the congregations for their ministries
• Developing creative, comprehensive strategies of outreach
• Identifying, recruiting, developing and supporting the leadership of the synod
• Fostering interdependence among congregations, associates in ministry, and pastors
• Bringing reconciliation to a divided world, caring for the hurting in society and advocating for their needs
• Participating in the global mission of the church
• Seeking out and participating in ecumenical ministries.

Our mission is in partnership with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in American and congregations of the Nebraska Synod.
