Learning
Martin Luther believed that worship and education were the two pillars upon which a strong Church could be built. Based on his insight, churches in the Lutheran tradition have placed great emphasis on education for all people of all ages, within congregations, in schools, at colleges and universities and in various forms throughout one’s life.
The Nebraska Synod relates to and supports two colleges and two seminaries. It also fosters education for people considering vocations in the life of the Church. It offers campus ministries to people attending colleges and universities in Nebraska. The synod also offers education for individuals preparing to become Parish Ministry Associates (PMAs).
