“Come and See”

Early in his ministry, Jesus, a rabbi from Nazareth, called Philip to become a disciple. Philip found Nathaniel, his friend, and invited him to meet Jesus. Nathaniel responded, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”

Philip said, “Come and see.” (John 1:43-46, NRSV)

Many may ask if anything good can come out of Nebraska. Our answer is the same: Come and see!

You’re Invited

Come and see youth traveling to Mississippi to work side by side with residents to rebuild their homes and their lives following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

Come and see direct support professionals become the living hands of Christ as they nurture elders, people with illnesses, people with developmental disabilities and small children with no parents.

Come and see the bonds of companionship, strengthened through the sharing of the One Bread, the risen Lord, cover the vast miles between the American Midwest and the lands of Argentina and Tanzania.

Come and see hundreds of congregations and hundreds of pastors gathering faithfully around God’s Washing, Word and Meal and celebrating the promise of new life in Jesus Christ.
