Waters That Nourish: Women in Ministry Retreat (April 27-29, 2014)

Women in Ministry 2014“They shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream… it does not cease to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

We have all experienced times in our life when we feel as if we are running on empty. The promise of Jeremiah 17:7-8 is that when we sink our roots deep into Christ’s living water, we will be refreshed and renewed.

Waters That Nourish: the Women in Ministry Retreat will be held at Camp Carol Joy Holling near Ashland April 27-29. The retreat will include time for rest and reflection; time for worship; time to laugh and be refilled; time to get to know one another better, and time to practice that which brings you joy and refreshment.

Presenter

Alissa Gunning, the retreat’s leader, is a certified spiritual director, writer and seeker. She obtained her spiritual direction certification through Seeking the Spirit Within, the Nebraska Synod’s spiritual direction institute.
