2008 Fall Leadership Gatherings
Nebraska Synod Mission Trip
Congregational council presidents, rostered leaders and one additional lay leader from each of our 260+ congregations are invited to our 2008 Fall Leadership Gatherings beginning in August. Leaders will join Bishop David deFreese and fellow leaders from their area mission clusters for dinner and conversation on the theme: God’s Work. Our Hands. Setting the Direction.
It will be a time to talk and learn and come together as the church,’ said Pastor Lee Griess, Assistant to the Bishop for Stewardship. These yearly gatherings of rostered and congregational lay leaders are important to the life of our synod. Bishop deFreese and Bishop’s Assistant Lee Griess will present the program at each of these events which features discussion and interaction.
