What can ELCA.org do for your congregation? Among the most valuable links for congregations at www.elca.org are the Directories, leading to all sorts of other connections. including the churchwide staff directory (look up a topic and you get a list of appropriate staff to contact). The "Resources" link leads directly to online resources in all the categories of interest to congregations like evangelism and worship, as well as constitutions and official statements and messages of the ELCA. The Office of the Treasurer has a whole section devoted to helps for congregations - a manual for congregational treasurers, guidelines for audits and links to the Office of the Secretary record retention guidelines as well. Invaluable! Another handy-dandy source for locating items is the Resource Finder, mentioned in every issue of Seeds for the Parish.
